I love orthodontics because ...

It makes people smile. The end results are always so rewarding. When you see patients come out from having their braces removed, the smiles on their faces are priceless.

A little about me ...

I was born and raised in New Castle where I currently reside with my husband, Carmen. We have been married for 35 years and have two adult children. My son Justin and his family, which includes our granddaughter Ashtyn and little Ali, who we cannot get enough of, resides in New Castle; and my daughter Lauren who recently got married and is pursuing her master’s degree at UNLV in Las Vegas while working as a speech pathologist in the Clark County School District. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, being grandma, cooking, shopping, and traveling.

I love orthodontics because ...

I enjoy meeting people and having the opportunity to build great relationships with the families in our practice as we watch them grow and progress through orthodontic treatment. After 20+ years in the orthodontic field, I have seen how orthodontic treatment has made so many people smile ... it is great!

A little about me ...

I was born and raised in New Castle. I am happily married to my husband Sam for 37 years. We have been blessed with two wonderful children and five beautiful grandchildren. Both of our children reside in New Castle. Rachel and her husband Brandon and their daughter Giada and son Geno, along with Sammy and his wife Jody and their children Bella, Neena, and Sammy Jr. all live within blocks of us. We love to travel, but most of all we love spending time with our family! My goal in life is to be the person my grandchildren think I am.

I love orthodontics because ...

I love people! It has been a wonderful experience working in the orthodontic field. It has helped me grow as a person. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the impact that braces have made on our patients.

The treatment coordinator. I have worked in the dental field for more than 36 years. My main duties include new-patient X-rays, photographs, and study models, along with coordinating treatment plans and presentation to parents with Dr. Rich. Marsha

A little about me ...

Hi, I’m Marsha. I live in New Castle now but am originally from Ellwood City. That’s where I grew up. It was a hard move for me at the time, but now I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have two boys, Billy and Preston. They keep me very busy. I started in orthodontics when I was 21 years old ... my, where has the time gone! Each day is new and fresh for me. I try to keep an upbeat personality because it is nice to share a happy face and smile with everyone. I think people appreciate that. Just making a child feel safe and special when they come here is what I love to do best. It is an honor for me when a patient asks for me to work on them. It shows that I am doing a great job! And that makes me feel good inside.

I love orthodontics because ...

It is forever challenging. Both mentally and physically. Believe it or not, after 22 years of experience here at this office, I can still say I learn something new every day. Orthodontics is always changing, with more modern techniques to make patient treatment both better and faster. We’re always trying to do what’s best for the patient.

At Dr. Rich’s Office I am ...

A clinical technician, and I also work in the laboratory making retainers and numerous other duties that are too many to mention. It is a busy day from morning till it is time to end the day. But I am here to make your day a little less scary and a lot more fun, so you can actually enjoy coming to our practice and have a great experience here, and of course a beautiful smile.

I love orthodontics because ...

I enjoy seeing the end results, especially on adults who have wanted treatment and are now able to have a beautiful smile. The camaraderie between our staff is another reason I am happy to come to work.

At Dr. Rich’s Office I am ...

The clinical supervisor. My responsibilities include coordinating the schedule and overseeing the operation of the clinic while helping the other assistants when needed. I am also responsible for ordering all clinical supplies, printing finished photos, and managing the SureSmile® scanning.

Irene

A little about me ...

I have lived in New Castle my whole life. My husband John and I have a son Matt, who recently graduated Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and is currently employed in the Camp Hill, PA area. I have always enjoyed time with my family and in recent years have been active in assisting my mom with her day-to-day activities to enable her to live independently. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities that change with the seasons.

I love orthodontics because ...

I was one of those individuals that hid their smile from everyone. As a young adult, I sought out an orthodontist that during my treatment offered me employment in the orthodontic field, and I never left. Having that smile I always wanted changed my life and gave me the confidence and desire to help others achieve that same dramatic difference. I feel truly blessed to be a part of a team that helps to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

At Dr. Rich’s Office I am ...

The behind-the-scene person who coordinates day-to-day functions of the practice and the planning of patient activities.
