I am a lifelong resident of New Castle. I have 1 son, Geno, who is 10 years old. He is very athletic so his sports activities keep me extremely busy when I am not at work. Before I became an orthodontic technician, I was a hairstylist and still enjoy cutting hair for my family and friends.
I love orthodontics because
I have always enjoyed working with the public. In orthodontics, it is so enjoyable to see the results of someone who is finished with treatment and so happy with their beautiful smile.

A little about me...
Hi, Im Marsha. I live in New Castle now but am originally from Ellwood City. Thats where I grew up. It was a hard move for me at the time, but now I wouldnt have it any other way. I have 2 boys, Billy and Preston. They keep me very busy. I started in orthodontics when I was 21 years old my where has the time gone!!! Each day is new and fresh for me. I try to keep an upbeat personality because it is nice to share a happy face and smile with everyone. I think people appreciate that. Just making a child feel safe and special when they come here is what I love to do best. It is an honor for me when a patient asks for me to work on them. It shows that I am doing a great job! And that makes me feel good inside.
I love orthodontics because...
It is forever challenging. Both mentally and physically. Believe it or not, after 22 years of experience here at this office, I can still say I learn something new every day. Orthodontics is always changing with more modern techniques to make patient treatment both better and faster. Were always trying to do whats best for the patient.
At Dr. Richs Office I am...
A clinical technician and I also work in the laboratory making retainers and numerous other duties that are too many to mention. It is a busy day from morning till it is time to end the day. But I am here to make your day a little less scary and a lot more fun-so you can actually enjoy coming to our practice and have a great experience here, and of course a beautiful smile.

A little about me...
I have lived in New Castle my whole life. My husband John and I have a son Matt, who recently graduated Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. and is presently employed in the Camp Hill, PA area. I have always enjoyed time with my family and in recent years have been active in assisting my mom with her day to day activities to enable her to live independently. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities that change with the seasons.
I love orthodontics because...
I was one of those individuals that hid their smile from everyone. As a young adult, I sought out an orthodontist that during my treatment offered me employment in the orthodontic field and I never left. Having that smile I always wanted changed my life and gave me the confidence and desire to help others achieve that same dramatic difference. I feel truly blessed to be a part of a team that helps to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
At Dr. Richs Office I am...
I am the behind-the-scene person coordinating day-to-day functions of the practice and the planning of patient activities.
